Along with the discipline of study and the striving for technical ability I look for other elements to represent the subject’s narrative and meaning, colour and design, atmosphere and space as an object.

Working mostly in oil paints, applied as several layers, the studies are usually worked out on an iPad. I look to keep original sketch aspects and include them as they are part of the process of the ‘finished’ piece.
