The sea

Forever there, forever moving, the sea has always been a source of inspiration. Which is probably due to my Liverpool past.

Vast areas of blue on a map seem like permanent features but the coastline is constantly changing. Jewel like Atolls, spread across the ocean, seem so timeless yet many will disappear over the next generation, due to rising sea levels.

These images are designed to work individually but also collectively in an organised grid-like Atoll Wall.

Oil paints and digital painting are used to create original artworks, sometimes mixed media.
